CBS Sports App: Scores & News App Reviews

Unless you have Cox, Frontier, or Optimum as your cable provider, you cant live stream games. Worst Sports app out there. The limited list of approved cable providers (3) is so laughable. If I was CBSS, I would be embarrassed.

Trying to follow a game in this app and it has locked up 5 times. The game isnt even over yet.

The recent improvement was not an improvement for me. Someone got creative and completely changed the interface. I thought I had mistakenly entered a part of the application where I had not been before. I wanted nothing to do with any office pool and I was getting scores now that I care very little about. I was comfortable with the setup I had and now I must waste my time learning a new interface. I might as well learn a new application. I do not like this.

The only thing that works on this app is commercials!

Love this app. Streamlined, great graphics, very clear presentation, and free live games when theyre on CBS. I use this one and the ESPN app together, but prefer the layout of CBS by far. A must have, in my opinion.

If you are wanting to watch live events on your iPad this is the most unreliable and inconsistent app I own. Works fine on my iPhone and MacBook but for whatever reason it is terrible on my iPad.

Why do you say that it is compatible with Chromecast when it NEVER works. I have tried at least a dozen times over the past few months, and it never works. PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM!!!

This app was detailed and organized but no longer through this awful update smashing everything cbs sports has into one giant mess.

The chromecast function in the cvs sports app isnt working.

The new update doesnt allow me to cast to the chrome cast. I rarely have issue with other apps casting but this one will not work at all with chrome cast.

And why doesnt the app allow Airplay?!!! CBS products are horrible! I really wouldnt rate the app even 1 star!

I have been trying to watch one single game on this app and have had it freeze or just go blank so often. The worst part is it reverts to the same 2 ads it plays after a crash or freeze and you miss a quarter of playing time just trying to use. If you have to watch the game i would hope its on espn or watch an actual tv on cbs.

Hate the latest revision. Too difficult to get to the score I want (without all the ones I dont). Also, less convenient to get to the news for my teams.

Everyone is saying this app is bad. However, its really not play by play got way better the menu is way easier to access... the only things that are bad about it is ads and you cant search a specific team. Overall I think its very good!

The new version is absurd- hard to find info etc- am deleting the app

Why cant app developers leave whats working alone????? I used to be able to look at scores by sport, or by league. No I cant sort them that way!! Goodbye CBS sports. After all these years of using it, I am officially done!!

Latest edition of this app stinks! Shuts down constantly. Scoring updates very delayed - frequently 15 minutes or longer. Very disappointing. Hoping some major fixes are on the way soon or this is going in the delete file.

Asking for basic things, like stats for an NBA Preseason game, is just too much for CBS Sports. Its just inconsistent as hell. Why deal with it?

I only used it for nfl news now it completely resets making me reselect my previous settings every time I use the app.
